I have a strong connection with our roots; especially the villages where my great grandparents lived. I feel astonished about how these villagers tend to decorate their houses based on their own aesthetic taste, which amazingly reflects their traditions. The beauty of a village home lies in a way it welcomes natural light and fresh air; a big open area with trees at the front and a vegetable garden in the backyard.

You can relive that simple, uncomplicated life by bringing at least the essence of village designs to our urban homes. Here is a beautiful Indian Village Home built using mud and decorated with naturally available resources. Indian village home design are generally eco- friendly in nature, made by bamboos, mud and with thatched roofs. Wall and floor are painted by a mixture of cow-dung and grass.
